Behind the Scenes at Wynn – Roberto Cavalli Cake

During the 2024 Super Bowl weekend, Wynn Chief Cake Artist Flora Aghababyan joined forces with iconic Italian fashion brand Roberto Cavalli to create a stunning cake for the brand’s exclusive trunk show at Jardin. The cake depicted a runway show with models and the recently opened boutique at Wynn Las Vegas. She used motifs from Cavalli’s bold patterns and famous animal prints for the confectionary design, Dual bedazzled chocolate tigers guard the stairs of the runway and three-dimensional flowers in Cavalli prints adorn the walls of the boutique.

“I take the design from them and then design my way. It's fun because you are designing something for the designer,” Aghababyan says. “That's why I'm challenging myself. It's not easy to impress these kinds of people. They see everything in the fashion industry. Most importantly, they see my work, and they’ll be happy, so I did my best.”
